Cheapest toddler entertainment ever

Yesterday, Gabriel and I had a field trip to . . . the Kent Sounder train station. I did not tell him why we were going there, until we parked and he said, “Is we going in the train?” And then I had a changed child, and he started talking continuously about “Gabriel’s diesel passenger train” until it arrived. He was perfect about following directions. We rode two stops to Sumner, got off, and waited twenty minutes for a northbound train and got back on. We passed the Auburn rail yard with freight trains and oil trains and he pointed out every car, and we passed several construction equipment yards and he pointed out every trackhoe and bulldozer there was.

$3.25. Cheapest toddler entertainment ever.
