Great article on history of replacement surfactant!

Wow, it’s been a month since I published anything on this blog. I’ve been working continuously on my manuscript with lots of progress, but for whatever reason my brain is not able to switch easily between hot media (a big long book you consume in the same media environment, that is, the book) and cool media (a blog or a twitter feed with short articles and multiple media environments). So I’m not much of a blogger.

Anyway, I thought I would post a link to an article that talks about how replacement surfactant was developed as a treatment for respiratory distress syndrome. The name of the article is “Bubbles, Babies and Biology, The Story of Surfactant” from The Journal of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.
